Our Story
The Yarmouth Food Pantry was established in 2010 to provide essential food assistance to individuals and families in need within Barnstable County. Operating as a 100% volunteer organization, it relies on community support and donations to fulfill its mission of fighting food insecurity without discrimination.
Our Impact
Each month, the Yarmouth Food Pantry distributes between 800 and 900 bags of food to over 150 households, serving more than 12,000 individuals. For every dollar donated, the pantry can purchase two dollars worth of food from the Greater Boston Food Bank, significantly amplifying its impact.
Why Donate?
Donating to the Yarmouth Food Pantry directly supports the fight against food insecurity in the community. Contributions help the pantry purchase food at a reduced rate, effectively doubling the impact of each dollar donated. The pantry serves a diverse clientele, ensuring that those in need have access to essential food resources.
