Our Story

Woof Dog Rescue, Inc. was established in 2003 to combat the suffering of homeless, abused, sick, injured, and abandoned animals in New York City. This dedicated organization pulls animals from city shelters and places them into loving foster homes for medical treatment, re-socialization, and retraining before finding them forever homes.

Our Impact

Each year, Woof and its affiliate out-of-state rescue organizations save over 100 animals from New York City shelters, providing essential medical care and fostering until they can be adopted into loving homes.
