Our Story

The Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati, founded in 1892 by 19 visionary women artists, has grown to over 250 members, making it the oldest continuously operating Women’s Art Club in the United States. In 2006, the Club established the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati Foundation to fund the restoration of Mariemont’s Resthaven Barn, transforming it into a vibrant Cultural Center.

Impact

The Barn serves as a hub for creativity, offering art classes, exhibitions, films, and an arts-based youth summer camp. With an estimated 19,000 visits each year, it fosters community engagement and artistic expression.
