The Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) was established in 1985 to empower individuals and communities in rural Mississippi. With a focus on cooperative development, the organization supports small farmers and landowners by providing equitable access to resources and fostering sustainable agricultural practices.

WCSHC has significantly increased program participation among small farmers and ranchers, enhancing their agricultural practices and financial management skills. Over 100 small farmers and ranchers in East Mississippi and Western Alabama have benefited from the organization's training and resources.
