Our Story

The Wilton Land Conservation Trust was established in 1964 by concerned residents of Wilton, Connecticut, who recognized the urgent need to protect natural resources and wildlife habitats from the pressures of population growth and housing development. With a commitment to preserving open space, the Trust currently owns or holds conservation easements on 119 parcels, totaling nearly 835 acres.
