Our Story
Since its inception in 2006, Wild Goose Creative has been dedicated to building a vibrant creative community at the intersection of art, risk, and meaning. Founded by a group of passionate graduates from Calvin College, Wild Goose Creative has evolved from a series of informal events into a dynamic multipurpose creative space located at 188 McDowell in Franklinton, Ohio. This space serves as a gallery, concert hall, classroom, and gathering place for artists and audiences alike.
Over the past decade, WGC has hosted more than 320 events each year, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions and fostering connections between artists and the community. The name "Wild Goose" reflects the unpredictable and collaborative nature of art, inviting audiences to engage with the creative process. Despite challenges, including the impact of COVID-19, WGC remains committed to its mission of supporting local artists and enriching the cultural landscape of Columbus.
