WhirlWind Dance

Our Story

Founded in 2021 by Joshua Manculich, a Princess Grace Award Winner and former dancer with Thodos Dance Chicago, WhirlWind Dance emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic to create a vibrant artistic community. The inaugural event, "Let Us Move and Be Moved," showcased socially-distanced dance performances in Houston, TX, igniting a passion for movement and collaboration. In 2022, WhirlWind Dance became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and relocated to Columbus, OH, where it has since expanded its programming to support 52 dancers year-round. The WyND Program, the official youth company, attracts driven youth from across Ohio, fostering growth and creativity alongside professional dancers.
