Our Story

At Wa-Ya Outdoor Institute, the mission is to weave together outdoor survival, science, and indigenous culture to provide youth, regardless of income, with opportunities to learn about outdoor science and connect with nature. Located in the greater Olympia area, Wa-Ya conducts immersive summer day camps for youth aged 6-18, focusing on hands-on, experiential learning in small groups.
