Our Story
The Veterans Navigation Center (VNC) was established in 2019 to assist Veterans in San Diego County. Founded by Veteran-in-Recovery Jay Wylie and addiction expert Scott H. Silverman, the VNC addresses the critical need for substance use counseling and treatment within the Veteran community.
Our Impact
Each week, the VNC provides treatment and mental health support to up to 40 Veterans, helping them overcome substance abuse and reintegrate into civilian life. The organization connects Veterans to essential resources, addressing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health issues.
Why Donate?
Your donation to the VNC supports vital services for Veterans, including case management, mental health support, and training for Veteran Peer Navigators. Contributions fill community gaps and provide hope to those who have sacrificed for our nation.
