Our Story

Urban Community Alliance is a transformative organization born from the merger of New Haven Family Alliance and Veterans Empowering Teens Through Support. This collaboration aims to uplift communities of color by fostering strong, healthy families who can advocate for themselves and reform systemic barriers.

Impact

UCA empowers families of color to achieve financial self-reliance and enhance their overall well-being. The organization effectively meets the needs of low-income urban children by strengthening the connection between parents and their children, while also reconnecting families to their communities.
