Our Story

Uplook Ministries began in the 1920s when William Pell, as a young teenager, started printing gospel tracts in his mother’s parlor in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 1927, he partnered with Leonard Sheldrake to create a magazine called 'Look On the Fields,' which later became known as Uplook. This ministry has a rich history of inspiring God’s people through biblical articles and encouraging prayer and action for gospel work across North America.

Our Impact

Uplook Ministries develops Bible teaching resources that strengthen local churches and provide gospel materials to promote evangelism. The organization also supports both material and spiritual needs for prisoners and disadvantaged individuals, primarily in the Deep South.
