Our Story
Upendo318 is dedicated to serving the community of Kinangop, Kenya, by restoring dignity and hope to those in need. The journey began with a deep conviction to serve in missions, particularly in Africa. After numerous mission trips, the realization of the immense needs faced by individuals in third-world countries became clear. The first trip to Kenya ignited a passion for the people and their stories, particularly the women who expressed a desire for livestock and land to provide for their families.
Through perseverance and faith, Upendo318 was founded to empower these women, who formed a group named "Mwihoko," meaning hope in Kikuyu. With support from generous donors and local partnerships, they have made significant strides, including purchasing land, starting a produce garden, and building a community meeting place. The mission is not just about providing aid; it’s about fostering love, hope, and self-sufficiency.
