LifeNet4Families, formerly known as The Cooperative Feeding Program, has been dedicated to serving the hungry and homeless of Broward County since 1985. What began as a simple effort to distribute peanut butter and jelly sandwiches has evolved into a robust program providing over 100,000 meals annually. This growth reflects the increasing needs of the community, driven by principles of teamwork, respect, dignity, kindness, and communication.
Each year, LifeNet4Families serves approximately 6,000 individuals and families, tackling food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty through initiatives like the Community Café and Mobile Food Pantry.
Every dollar donated translates directly into services provided or hot meals served six days a week, making a significant difference in the fight against hunger in Broward County.
