Tesha’s Hands was founded in 2018 by Lakesha and Greg Burton in memory of Lakesha’s twin sister, Latesha. Inspired by Tesha's life and her challenges, Lakesha, a community advocate and former assistant chief of police, created this nonprofit to honor her sister by serving the most vulnerable in society.
Through scholarships for special needs students, support for a special needs orphanage in Jamaica, and assistance to underprivileged communities in Africa, Tesha’s Hands is dedicated to making a difference.
