Our Story

Founded in 2021 by passionate parents, Teach AAPI emerged in response to the rising anti-Asian sentiment during the pandemic. The organization aims to create systemic change in the perception of Asians in America by enhancing AAPI education in schools across the country. By providing engaging programming from the AAPI diaspora, Teach AAPI fosters empathy and compassion among students, paving the way for a more inclusive future.

Our Impact

Teach AAPI supports educators and students nationwide, reaching over 10,000 students through virtual programs and introducing a new preschool curriculum to more than 650 students. Additionally, the Belonging Through Books Initiative has supported 100,000 students, ensuring that AAPI stories are heard and valued.
