Founded in early 2020, the organization initially pivoted to produce masks and bags during the pandemic before returning to its core mission of baking. Through these efforts, women gain dignity and self-reliance through honest work.
By focusing on education and mentorship, The Sweet Addiction strives to reduce recidivism and promote community giving. On-the-job training in our bakery and textile entity equips women with the skills needed for sustainable employment, fostering a sense of purpose and belonging.
