Rob Burton, Majadi Baruti, and Susan Diane Mitchell, with years of experience in various organizations, envisioned a brighter future for their state. This vision crystallized into SWEET Alabama, which stands for Sustainable Water, Energy, and Economic Transition in Alabama. With a dedicated board of directors and a passionate community, SWEET Alabama is committed to creating lasting change.
Our Impact
In 2022, SWEET Alabama made significant strides, expanding the Home Energy Retrofit (HER) Program. From in-person workshops to providing free energy retrofit kits, the organization is dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency in homes across Alabama.
