The Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico (SHCNM) was established in 1996 to address the critical need for safe and affordable housing for homeless and at-risk individuals with behavioral health diagnoses. Founded by key local service providers, SHCNM specializes in developing, owning, and managing supportive housing while collaborating with community agencies to deliver comprehensive services.
Our Impact
SHCNM administers over 300 permanent supportive housing vouchers and partners with the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness to provide effective housing solutions. By connecting participants with Housing & Services Coordinators, SHCNM ensures a smooth transition from homelessness to stable housing, enhancing access to vital community resources.
