Supporters of Camp Archbald began as a grassroots movement in January 2018, sparked by concerns over the potential sale of Camp Archbald. This organization was established to secure the camp's future and develop programs that empower girls through collaboration with the Girl Scouts in Northeast Pennsylvania.
In 2023, SoCA successfully served over 200 girls through various camp events and programs, hosted 20 events, and contributed $120,000 towards the preservation and restoration of camp facilities. Five buildings have been restored, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for future generations.
