Founded in 2006, Star House operates Central Ohio's only drop-in center for youth aged 14-24 experiencing homelessness. Initially part of a research project by The Ohio State University, it serves as a vital bridge between the streets and traditional services, offering immediate access to essential resources and support.
Among youth accessing Star House for three months or more, 73% obtained housing, 83% received ID cards, 95% accessed medical care, 75% engaged in therapy or case management, 75% found employment, and 98% received transportation.
