Our Story
In the early 1990s, city leaders and community activists recognized the urgent need for affordable housing in Snohomish. They set an ambitious goal to construct 100 housing units without relying on traditional government subsidies like HUD grants or Section 8 funding. This innovative approach allowed for more efficient development at a significantly lower cost. The first 18 units were completed in 1994, and by 2009, the original goal was achieved with the completion of the last 21-unit project, totaling 103 units. In 2020, a new site was gifted to the organization, which is currently in the development phase.
