Our Story

Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch was founded by Jan and Marvin Neal, who have dedicated their lives to serving at-risk youth in Northern Nevada. With over 25 years of experience as a Chaplain at a local juvenile detention center, Marvin, alongside Jan, has opened their home to many kids, providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Impact

The mission is to rescue, redeem, and restore troubled teens, helping them grow into productive, compassionate members of the community. By decreasing the gap between youth failing in relationships, school, and society, the organization ultimately saves tax dollars and lowers juvenile justice caseloads.
