Shining Light Abroad Ministries

Our Story

Founded by Michael and Deidra Taylor, Shining Light Abroad Ministries has been dedicated to serving the people of Guatemala since 1999. After years of ministry involvement, the Taylors relocated their family to El Tejar, Guatemala, in June 2017. Their mission is to evangelize and disciple the local community through English Academies, computer classes, and educational programs. By integrating biblical teachings into their curriculum, they aim to introduce students to the salvation of Christ and foster spiritual growth.

Our Impact

Every week, 143 children receive love, education, and nourishment through Shining Light Abroad Ministries. The goal is to empower these children to become followers of Jesus Christ and break the cycle of poverty.
