Our Story

Service Paws, established in January 2017, is the premier nonprofit organization in Layton, Utah, dedicated to training service dogs for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and first responders. By offering both virtual and in-person classes, Service Paws empowers individuals to train their own service dogs, ensuring they have the support they need to lead fulfilling lives. Collaborating with local rescues and shelters, Service Paws identifies potential service dog candidates, giving rescue dogs a second chance at life and purpose.
