Our Story

Founded in 1975 as a service unit of the National Benevolent Association, Serra Residential Center has dedicated itself to integrating adults with developmental disabilities into the community. Over the years, it has evolved from providing large facility-based care to offering individualized support in residential settings throughout Fremont.

Impact

Currently, Serra Center serves over 80 individuals across three programs, with many clients successfully integrating into the community through employment and cultural activities. The organization provides specialized care 24/7, ensuring dignity and respect for all.
