Our Story

Founded in 2007, Serenity Fair Way Foundation (SFWF) began as the Serenity Housing Foundation, dedicated to supporting Serenity Street. The name "Serenity" reflects the organization's roots, while "Fair Way" symbolizes the generosity of a family committed to giving back. SFWF was established to assist hardworking individuals facing unexpected financial hardships, such as car repairs or health issues. Officially launching its emergency assistance application process in 2018, SFWF became the first program of its kind in Columbus, Ohio. The board members recognized the importance of providing timely assistance to prevent individuals from falling into deeper financial distress.
