Our Story

Established in 1936, the Scottsville Free Library began as a small initiative to deliver books to the Mumford community. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital resource, with a dedicated space in the Donnelly House since 1971, thanks to the support of the Town of Wheatland and the Monroe County Library System.

Impact

The Mumford Branch Library has significantly increased its circulation and attendance, ensuring that essential library services are accessible to all community members.
