About Saratoga PLAN
Saratoga PLAN, established in July 2003, emerged from the merger of the Saratoga Springs Open Space Project and the Land Trust of the Saratoga Region. Both organizations began as grassroots efforts in the late 1980s, and their collaboration led to the formation of a robust land conservation entity dedicated to the Saratoga region. This organization provides comprehensive land conservation services, working closely with governments, organizations, and individuals to promote sustainable land use and recreational trail planning.
Impact of Saratoga PLAN
With a commitment to preserving the rural character and natural habitats of Saratoga County, Saratoga PLAN has successfully conserved over 7,000 acres of land and developed more than 200 miles of trails. These efforts ensure that the scenic beauty and environmental health of the region are maintained for future generations.
