The San Jose Filipino Ministry (SJFM) was established in 2021 as part of the Ethnic Ministries of the Diocese of Orange. This initiative aims to deepen the faith and foster the spiritual growth of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in the Diocese, providing essential resources to enrich their faith and culture.
In its inaugural year, SJFM organized significant events, including the Opening Festivities of the 500 Years of Christianity in the Philippines Celebration, which attracted around 2,000 attendees. Additionally, the ministry provided financial aid to victims of Typhoon Odette and hosted various cultural and religious programs to engage the community.
