Our Story
The San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust was established in 1988 to create a continuous greenway along 33 miles of the San Joaquin River in the Fresno-Madera region. This organization is dedicated to preserving and restoring lands of ecological, scenic, and historic significance.
Impact
In 2020, the River Parkway Trust stewarded 4,716 acres, facilitated over 10,000 hours of volunteer service, and welcomed more than 26,000 visitors, showcasing its vital role in community engagement and environmental conservation.
