Samhati, meaning 'solidarity' in Bangla, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1984 by Bangladeshi women in the Washington D.C. area. This organization is dedicated to empowering women and improving the social and economic conditions of disadvantaged women and children in Bangladesh.

With approximately 95% of contributions directed towards supporting women and families, Samhati focuses on enhancing literacy, health, and economic opportunities, thereby uplifting community welfare.
