Our Story
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul was founded in 1833 by a group of students in Paris, led by Frédéric Ozanam, who were inspired to help the poor. With nearly 100,000 volunteers across the United States, the organization provides direct assistance through home visits and community services. The Lancaster chapter has been dedicated to serving the local community for over 60 years, embodying the mission of respect and compassion.
