Our Story

The Youth Protection Council has been dedicated to providing emergency and transitional housing, parenting education, and substance use prevention services since 1962. Serving as the lead shelter provider for runaway and homeless youth in Saginaw County, the organization promotes health and wellness for school-age youth.

Impact

Each year, the Youth Protection Council offers over 7,000 days of shelter care and housing for homeless youth and teen parents, while also providing substance abuse prevention services to over 600 school-age children.
