About ROC E6

Founded in 2005, ROC E6 began as a summer camp aimed at providing inner-city youth with opportunities to engage in sports and education. The organization was established by Arkee Allen and Art Alvut, whose friendship blossomed through the Big Brother Big Sister Program. Starting with just 22 campers, ROC E6 has expanded to include over 120 players across five teams, significantly enhancing the presence of lacrosse in the Rochester City School District.

Impact of ROC E6

ROC E6 has successfully created pathways for inner-city youth to participate in lacrosse, fostering personal growth and athletic development.
