Our Story
On September 21, 2014, Robby Poblete was tragically killed by gun violence in Vallejo, California. At just 23 years old, Robby was a promising young man working in biotech and learning welding. His death, caused by an illegally obtained firearm, sparked the creation of the Robby Poblete Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to removing unwanted guns from circulation through annual gun buyback programs, transforming these weapons into instruments of hope through arts and vocational training.
