Our Story

The Retired Boston Police Officers Association was established to foster camaraderie among retired Boston police officers and to inform retiring members about their options. Officially recognized by the Boston Police Department in 1998, the association has a rich history, with founding members bringing over three hundred and fifty years of combined police experience. The organization is dedicated to supporting its members and the community through various initiatives, including scholarships and child safety programs.

Our Impact

Through its annual Child Safety Campaign, the Retired Boston Police Officers Association has made significant strides in enhancing child safety in the community. Programs like 'Operation Code Blue' provide essential fingerprinting and identification services for children, resulting in hundreds of identification cards and safety kits distributed to families.
