Reconsidered Goods
EIN: 81-2785091 · Greensboro, NC
Our Story
Founded in 2015 by artist and environmental advocate Paige Cox, Reconsidered Goods emerged from a passion for creative reuse and community engagement. After attending a transformative Boot Camp at Scrap Exchange in Durham, NC, Paige, with the support of Action Greensboro, initiated pop-up events in downtown Greensboro. These events sparked the formation of a dedicated team, including co-founders Martha Hughes-James and Joseph Edwards, and led to the establishment of a permanent location in September 2016.
Reconsidered Goods has since evolved into a vibrant hub for creativity and sustainability, relocating to a spacious 15,000 square foot facility in 2020. Under the leadership of Executive Director Catena Bergevin, the organization is expanding its partnerships and solidifying its role as a community leader in the Piedmont Triad region.
