Reading Is Fundamental, Honolulu, Inc. (RIF-Honolulu) is dedicated to fostering a love of reading among children in under-resourced communities on Oahu. By providing over 16,000 books annually to Pre-K through 3rd-grade students, RIF-Honolulu ensures that every child has the opportunity to own books and develop essential literacy skills.

In the 2023-2024 school year, RIF Honolulu successfully distributed books to 4,563 students across 18 schools, enriching their lives with 16,335 new books, including culturally relevant titles.
