Founded in 1995, READ Lakeland, Inc. addresses the critical need for adult literacy education in the Lakeland community. By providing one-to-one tutoring and small group instruction, the organization empowers adults with essential literacy skills, enabling them to read medical instructions, fill out employment applications, and more.
