Our Story

Founded by Fidel Ferrer, Project LEDO aims to create better opportunities for children from marginalized communities. With a focus on STEM education, the organization engages children from Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and low-income backgrounds, ensuring every child can learn and explore these fields in a fun and engaging way.

Impact

Project LEDO has successfully engaged 400 students from 6 schools in hands-on STEM programs, promoting equity and diversity in these fields. Initiatives like the LEGO Robotics program and Back-to-School supplies distribution have made a significant difference in the lives of children in the Portland area.
