Our Story
Prison to Employment Connection (P2EC) was co-founded by Diana Williams to address the urgent need for programs that equip incarcerated individuals with the skills and confidence necessary for successful reintegration into society. Focused on residents at San Quentin State Prison nearing release, P2EC has expanded its reach under the leadership of Executive Director Kevin McCracken since 2022.
Impact
P2EC boasts an impressive recidivism rate of just 1% among its graduates, far below the 60-65% average for formerly incarcerated individuals in California. Additionally, 83% of graduates excel in interviews, demonstrating the program's effectiveness in workforce preparation.
Why Donate?
Your donation to P2EC is vital for connecting formerly incarcerated individuals to essential employment resources, fostering safer communities, and providing hope and stability for returning citizens. The program relies entirely on generous donor support to continue its impactful work.
