Our Story

Peaceful Households is a community-based organization dedicated to improving life outcomes through trauma-informed care and the prevention of child maltreatment. Established in 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and now operating from Estero, Florida, this organization serves the entire United States and child advocates worldwide. It focuses on advancing childhood trauma and adversity education, having started as the lead organization for the Colorado ACE Collaboration, which spearheaded community-wide ACE education.

Our Impact

Peaceful Households aims to improve health, social-emotional, and economic outcomes for children and families by providing education and leadership to build trauma-responsive communities. The organization has trained over 5000 individuals and has a high satisfaction rating from course attendees, indicating a significant positive impact on communities.
