About Paws for Purple Hearts

Paws for Purple Hearts is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of America’s Warriors. Established in 2006, it offers Canine-Assisted Warrior Therapy and provides high-quality assistance dogs to Veterans and active-duty Service Members facing mobility challenges and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD and TBI. Partnering with Bergin College, the organization trains top-tier service dog trainers and assistance dogs tailored to the unique needs of those who have served.

Impact

With a commitment to service, Paws for Purple Hearts has directly improved the lives of over 13,000 individuals, facilitating more than 22,000 therapy sessions and deploying 159 assistance dogs to support Veterans and active-duty Service Members.
