Our Story

The Palo Alto School for Jewish Education (PASJE) has been a cornerstone of the Peninsula Jewish community for over 50 years. As an independent, non-profit Sunday school, PASJE offers classes from kindergarten through eighth grade, fostering a positive sense of identity, culture, and heritage among hundreds of students and families. Founded and run by dedicated parents, PASJE embraces the rich diversity of Jewish expression and identity, creating an inclusive environment where all families feel welcome.
