Our Story

Founded in 1954 by community members, the Oxford Ambulance Association has evolved from a used hearse-style ambulance to a vital emergency medical service provider. With a commitment to volunteerism, OAA not only serves the Town of Oxford but also extends mutual aid to neighboring communities.

Impact

Responding to over 1,000 calls annually, OAA relies on approximately 50 dedicated volunteers who contribute over 55,500 hours of service each year, enhancing community safety and health.
