One Arizona

Our Story

In response to the injustices of SB 1070, four immigrant rights organizations united to register 12,000 Latino voters, leading to the birth of One Arizona. Over a decade later, this coalition has grown to include 30 organizations across Arizona, dedicated to enhancing the lives of Arizonans, particularly people of color and youth. The mission is rooted in personal narratives of struggle, with many leaders having experienced the impact of SB 1070 firsthand. By amplifying the voices of those affected, One Arizona continues to advocate for a culture of civic engagement.

Impact

Since 2018, One Arizona has successfully registered over 600,000 voters, with an impressive 70% turnout in the 2020 Election. The Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) voting rate in Arizona surged by 45% in the last election.
