Our Story
The Mount Veeder Fire Safe Council (MVFSC) is a dedicated group of local residents and property owners committed to reducing the risk of wildland fire in the Mount Veeder area. Collaborating with the Dry Creek-Lokoya Volunteer Fire Department and the Napa Communities Fire Wise Foundation, MVFSC undertakes vital fuel reduction projects and raises awareness about wildfire risks. The organization has developed a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) that identifies specific projects to enhance community safety.
