The Mission

Our Story

Founded in 2012 by U.S. Marine Veterans Richard and Robert Myers along with Mark Aldridge, The Mission started as a small room dedicated to offering food and shelter to the homeless. Over the years, it has grown into two centers that provide vital services to the homeless and working poor in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.

Impact

In the past year, The Mission has made a significant impact by enrolling 37 individuals in its New Beginnings Program, serving over 12,900 meals, distributing more than 4,000 pairs of socks, and assisting over 400 families.
