The Mad Dog Initiative was founded in 2013 to protect endangered wildlife in Madagascar by managing domestic and feral dog populations. Through collaboration with local veterinarians and students, MDI promotes animal welfare and human health.
MDI has spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and provided medical care for over 600 dogs and cats, while also training local veterinarians and conducting wildlife monitoring.
