Our Story
Little River Wetlands Project is dedicated to restoring and protecting the wetlands in the historic watershed of the Little River, a major tributary of the Wabash River. Through education, community partnerships, and volunteer efforts, LRWP inspires stewardship and ensures that future generations can enjoy the ecological, recreational, and cultural benefits of wetlands.
Impact
LRWP protects over 1,300 acres of wetlands, educates over 10,000 individuals annually through 300+ programs, and contributes to flood prevention by preserving the capacity to hold trillions of gallons of water.
